Honouring the 100th anniversary of Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, the Canadian Friends of Hebrew University (CFHU) hosted the first Einstein Legacy Awards gala on May 12th, 2015 at the Liberty Grand. Albert Einstein was one of the co-founders of Hebrew University as well as Martin Buber and Sigmund Freud.

The very special guest of the gala evening was Chelsea Clinton to much fanfare, security and especially secret service members for the special occasion.

It didn’t seem too long ago that the Toronto qualifiers for the Made With Love cocktail competition were held. On March 30th, the competition to be Toronto’s best bartender culminated at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex.

Last night’s sold-out 2015 edition of the Motionball gala in Toronto was a glamorous charity bash once again taking over all the rooms of the Liberty Grand filled by 2,500 guests. We rated last year’s Motionball as one of Toronto’s Top Annual Events of 2014 and this was another great one jam-packed with entertainment, art, and fun all coming together in support of Special Olympics Canada.

The nationwide Motionball is back in Toronto and it’s always a mega crowd-pleasing charity party. Early bird tickets are already sold out.

The POGO Gala After Party, this year with the outer space theme of “Odyssey”, was another fun evening with a well-dressed crowd at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex.

Who else is looking forward to this year’s POGO charity party? It takes place at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex with awesome people like Mike Chalut from ProudFM. This year’s theme is “ODYSSEY” so get your space suits out and join 1,000 philanthropic party goers in “a journey through space” in support of children with cancer. Last year the POGO gala raised $800K for this important cause.
