To fête this year’s annual Yelloweek, the exclusive celebration was kicked off with a cruise on the Oriole off of Queens Quay on April 28, 2016.

It aims to be a multifaceted week long tribute to “Let Life Surprise You” including creativity, classy moments and of course, some fine bubbly, giving you a glimpse into the world of Maison Veuve Clicquot.

Coveted champagne brand, Veuve Clicquot has launched “Yelloweek” across Canada. It’s a week-long tribute to creativity showcasing some of the best of gastronomy, arts, fashion and lifestyle inspired by Veuve Clicquot founder, Madame Clicquot who pushed boundaries in the 1800s as a female entrepreneur.

In 1922, four community-minded women united together to raise funds to purchase 100 Yorkville Avenue, the first home of Mount Sinai Hospital. Then in 1953, 60 years ago, Rose Torno formally founded the Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary and to this day the Auxiliary remains dedicated to philanthropic efforts to address the needs of the hospital. So Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary kicked off their 60 years festivities on May 27, 2013 with Champagne Tea at the Teatro Verde store in Yorkville…
