The Joe Carter Classic celebrity golf tournament spanned two days and ended once again with an invitation only after party last night with proceeds benefitting the Children’s Aid Foundation.

More and more, young professionals are getting involved in charitable causes, and so what a great idea it was for the Children’s Aid Foundation to conceive an event targeted at young professionals. Hence, the first ever Suitcase Party was born, held at The Citizen on February 11th, 2015. It was a very exclusive event, with only 650 tickets available which sold out quickly.

The 28th annual Teddy Bear Affair in support of Children’s Aid Foundation was a night of ‘la dolce vita’. The Metro Toronto Convention Centre was transformed into a splendid Italian piazza, adorned in a panorama of Italian decadence and elegance.

The 27th annual Teddy Bear Affair was held on November 2, 2013 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. This year the South Building halls were transformed to the sunny, beach scenery of the California coast and the heydays of Route 66. This year’s annual Teddy Bear Affair had the theme of 1920’s era Paris, France in a decade known by many as “LES ANNÉES FOLLES” or the Roaring Twenties.  The theme drew influences from Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris and the Great Gatsby by F. On May 6, 2012, the Children’s Aid Foundation hosted the SPARK gala at the Carlu. Proceeds from for the fundraiser went to support the Ignite the Spark Fund which provides life-changing opportunities for disadvantaged children and youth living in the child welfare system.  These opportunities allow them to explore their interests in sports, arts and cultural activities which are crucial to their personal growth and development.
