On July 8th, I attended an exclusive opening of one of Toronto’s most sought-after hotspots: the Thompson Toronto Hotel’s rooftop – for their summer season rooftop opening launch.
On July 23rd, after the GotStyle 19 Crimes wine party in the Distillery District, socialites headed over to WEST bar at King West to celebrate Glen Baxter’s birthday.
It’s also the launch of Bread & Butter, a new series of industry night parties every Wednesday at WEST Bar hosted by fashionable socialites: Glen Baxter, Amanda Lew Kee and Lance Chung (editor at Sharp Magazine).
That was quite a grand show on July 19th at the Rogers Centre for the Jay-Z & Beyonce “On the Run” Tour that spanned cities in North America (even Winnipeg just last Sunday and also France).
I had already seen Jay-Z in Toronto with Kanye West on the Watch the Throne tour and then Jay-Z with Justin Timberlake on the Legends of the Summer tour. I also had the opportunity to see Beyonce’s solo show last year as well.
