AGO hosts an appetizing array of food and wine parings every month at Frank Restaurant, which centres on a different theme each time. I had an opportunity to attend their European styled tasting which allowed attendees to delve into everything from Spanish pintxos to hearty venison shank.

It’s not often that we get to venture out of the city’s downtown core to visit a restaurant, but when we do it’s always something to look forward to. This time, we were off to Thornhill, north of Toronto, to visit Terra Restaurant, celebrating its milestone 20th anniversary this October. We’re excited to share the good news that the drool-worthy food fundraising event Love Food Fest is right around the corner! This annual event raises crucial funds for the Action Against Hunger charity.

Once again the event will feature a dozen Toronto chefs and craft breweries and wineries. Tickets for the evening include “unlimited food, fun, and drinks” helping to support Action Against Hunger’s fight to end hunger.

And even better news, we’re giving away two tickets to Love Food…

Their previous company, L is For…, specializing in pastries, has evolved and transformed to Chef & Somm, where the husband and wife duo provide their services as chef and sommelier in creating a personalized and unique dining experience.
