Porzia launched its new spring food and cocktail menu to a packed house on April 15th. Chef Basilio Pesce constructed a new menu that is fresh and flavourful and balanced, suited for the warm weather to come. We visited to sample some of the new items, and did not leave disappointed.

The emerging Castlefield Design District of Toronto has a new kid on the block – the recently opened GE Monogram Design Centre and cooking studio. Designed by Harry Pontarini Architects, it aims to “elevate Toronto’s Design District and culinary landscape”, according to Monogram General Manager, Philippe Meyersohn. On Thursday, March 26, we had the chance to check out this beautiful new space during their launch party.
Street food has come a long way in the last decade, and attempts to transform it into gourmet delicacy have not slowed down in this city. The growing trend of creating elevated fast food, hot dogs in particular, can be found in the newly opened hot dog bar, Let’s Be Frank (460 Spadina Ave.) in Toronto’s Kensington Market.
