On June 10th, it was a special treat to be whisked away to the heart of Kleinburg, Ontario to get a peek at the newly opened XXI Chophouse. Located on the historic grounds of The Doctor’s House, this modern steakhouse is the result of a $4 million renovation, and it shows.
On Thursday, May 28, we were at the official launch of the new Queen Street 501 Cider from Brickworks Ciderhouse. If you’re a Torontonian, you’ll be familiar with the 501 – the TTC’s streetcar route along Queen Street. It is the longest operating streetcar route in North America, running through eight Toronto neighbourhoods, and serving as the inspiration for the Queen Street 501 Cider.

I didn’t know what to expect but what was supposed to be a Second Cup frappe launch on May 11th turned out to be a fun, summer beach inspired event at the Second Cup at King and John St (the one with modernized Second Cup designs including gorgeous new cream and milk taps, marble and more).
On April 29th, 2015 we attended the launch of Oliver & Bonacini’s newest venue, the Aperture Room. Located on the third floor of historic Thornton-Smith heritage building, it derives its name from the building’s most prominent tenant, the Toronto Camera Exchange, which at one point was the country’s largest photograph store.
