The 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera S customized exclusively for Amore Without Borders

The swanky inaugural soiree benefitting Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) / Doctors Without Borders Canada took place at Downtown Porsche on the evening of March 14, 2014.

The evening was emceed by Anne Mroczkowski and Mike Chalut. The menu of hors d’oeuvres was designed by chef David Rocco in conjunction with Pusateri’s Fine Foods corporate chef, Tony Cammalleri.

On an evening of dark gray skies and pouring rain, the Peacebuilders International Spring for Peace charitable gala helped to shine a ray of light on the futures of many young people with troubled pasts.

The Daily Bread Food Bank, along with support from the likes of Campbell’s and Nutella, held the Ultimate Food Challenge (UFC) again this year. Three talented local chefs competed at the fundraiser at Corus Quay last week, to fight for an end to hunger in our communities.

In recognition of human rights in the areas of sexual diversity and education, the annual Bonham Centre Awards Gala celebrated “The Power of the Word” for notable authors and writers. The recipients made contributions to the public understanding of sexual diversity in Canada.

Last night it was definitely a very full house for the sold-out Right to Play Ball in its 3rd iteration with featured celebrity comedian and DJ Russell Peters.
