Boasting to be the biggest benefit gala celebrating Chinese New Year in Canada, the 26th annual Dragon Ball was hosted at a new venue accommodating 1,100 guests for a grand Chinese New Year celebration in support of the Yee Hong Foundation’s dedicated services to local senior communities.
With the brilliance of summer ambiance filling the city, the 2014 SummerWorks Performance Festival kicked off with a unique and remarkable launch party at Toronto’s Campbell House. Over 10 artists converged on the grounds this historical residence, bringing together a night of beguiling performance art in support of the festival.
Cancer has touched all of our lives. As a second cause of death in North America, most of us know someone whose life has been claimed by this deadly disease. Fuelled by this sentience, 10 courageous men and women competed in the charity boxing gala, Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) at Toronto’s historic Old Mill Inn, to help raise money and awareness for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
In support of the Aids Committee of Toronto (ACT), the annual SNAP! fundraising gala was held at Andrew Richards Design on March 6, 2014. The evening gave guests the opportunity to bid on pieces of photographic art while at the same time raising funds for ACT’s programs and initiatives to reduce HIV transmission and support those living with HIV.
