Cancer has touched all of our lives. As a second cause of death in North America, most of us know someone whose life has been claimed by this deadly disease. Fuelled by this sentience, 10 courageous men and women competed in the charity boxing gala, Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) at Toronto’s historic Old Mill Inn, to help raise money and awareness for The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.

It was my second time at the Curve Ball gala and I remembered why it was one of my favourite events of 2013. Taking place on the baseball turf on the Rogers Centre with more than 1,000 VIP guests, it’s a fun one-of-a-kind baseball themed gala where guests get to mingle and rub shoulders with star athletes and alumni from the Toronto Blue Jays.

At Real Sports Bar on March 6, 2014, it was once again a Toronto sports fan’s dream come true to be able to rub shoulders and mingle with their favourite Toronto sports heroes from the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, the Toronto FC, Toronto Marlies and alumni all in one night at the MLSE Players Gala 2014.

While shooting their 2014 swimsuit calendar, the Toronto Argos Cheerleaders squad made this fun lip-dub video to Nicki Minaj’s song “Starships”. Just released today, this video was shot while on their Caribbean cruise visiting Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Maarten.
