What are you doing on October 31st? If you’re looking for something fun and out of the ordinary, here’s some great news for you – Evil Dead – The Musical is returning to Toronto at the Randolph Theatre, for a limited, 13-performance engagement opening on Halloween night.

Taking elements from director Sam Raimi‘s cult horror movies, the story is about “five college students [who] go to an abandoned cabin in the woods, and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It’s all up to Ash (a housewares employee, turned demon-killing hero), and his trusty chainsaw to save the day.”

With limbs and blood flying everywhere you might consider sitting in the infamous “Splatter Zone” – the first four rows of the Randolph Theatre dedicated to those who want get drenched in all the gore. Here you can wear a poncho, but you’re encouraged to wear white so you can proudly walk out after the show knowing you had a truly memorable experience. And hey, on October 31st, you’ve got an instant Halloween costume.

Last year’s run had rave reviews from audiences and critics alike, so much so that it was extended right through the holiday season. So if you missed your chance last year, now’s your opportunity to catch it again. Evil Dead – The Musical is playing at the Randolph Theatre at 736 Bathurst St from October 31st to November 9th. Buy your tickets at TicketFly online or by phone at 1-877-435-9849. You can also purchase tickets at the Randolph Theatre Box Office. On Saturday, October 25, you can also swing by their booth at the Toronto Zombie Walk at Nathan Philips Square to get discounted tickets.
