On Thursday, May 16, Toronto’s familiar social scene regulars and arts lovers donned their most glamorous fairytale-inspired (and extremely photo-worthy) frocks and hit the stunning Four Seasons Centre for the 15th annual Operanation fundraiser event.

On November 25th, 2014 the Canadian Opera Company held its 2nd annual Centre Stage competition. After auditions with 150 singers in 4 cities (Vancouver, Toronto, New York, Montreal), the next generation of 7 short-listed Canadian opera singers competed for this year’s coveted top honours.

On Thursday, October 16th, 2014, the illustrious Four Seasons Centre was illuminated for the annual Operanation gala. It’s the signature fundraiser of the Canadian Opera Company, this time with the theme of “Light Up the Night”.

As we mentioned last month, Operanation is one of Toronto’s must-attend events of the year. I was part of the judging process where cocktails were sampled by featured mixologist Dave Mitton of The Harbord Room.

Now in it’s 11th year, the Canadian Opera Company‘s signature fundraising gala, Operanation, is surely going to be a night to remember at the glamorous Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.

The next generation of Canada’s talented opera singers were celebrated at the Canadian Opera Company’s inaugural “Centre Stage” gala on November 26, 2013. After 155 preliminary auditions across Canada, nine short-listed singers competed to win cash prizes and opera glory at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. Accompanied by the COC orchestra and conducted by Music Director Johannes Debus, each singer gave their best performance in two arias each.
