This year’s “Wedding Room” hosted by The Wedding Co. The event this year took place at Oliver & Bonacini’s Arcadian event space last month.

With an understated name like the “Toronto Region Board of Trade”, you wouldn’t know at first glance that it’s a premiere event space in the financial district of downtown Toronto, but when you dig deeper actually it is so much more. It’s located in First Canadian Place which is my favourite of all the Toronto financial district plazas. I always love visiting One King West Hotel & Residence. It’s a substantially tall hotel and condo building with 51 stories centrally located right at Yonge and King Street, accessible via the underground PATH and right above the TTC King subway station. The soaring high ceilings, majestic décor in the Grand Banking Hall and the many other versatile event spaces make it a destination for tourists, Torontonians, event and wedding planners. There are frequently many memorable events that take place…

The intimate main ballroom can hold up to 220 guests for a reception and a total of 89 contemporary suites. For more…

Meanwhile it is well known behind the scenes that event planning is one of the most stressful jobs in the world. So it’s only fitting that special event planners get recognition for the magic that…

As described in wikipedia, Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction that typically features steam-powered machinery, especially in a setting inspired by industrialized Western civilization during the 19th century, or a post apocalyptic environment. We really enjoy this pseudo-Victorian mechanical “steampunk” style because it makes for beautiful visuals that stand out from cookie-cutter events. We were intrigued by the idea of a Steampunk-themed gala and also, who puts on better events than a community of professional event planners? This was…
