The Sinai Soiree, an annual Halloween event in its 7th year, was held on October 29th, 2016. This year, the highly anticipated fundraising party thrown by Mount Sinai Foundation, was held downtown at the CBC Atrium. The theme of this year’s event was Dia de los Muertos or in other words, Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday celebration.
Usually Sinai Soiree takes place in the summer but this time the stakes were raised for a Halloween edition of the annual charity party. There have been a lot of Great Gatsby inspired events in Toronto this year (could it have anything to do with the new Leonardo Di Caprio movie, perhaps?) but the historic Casa Loma is clearly one of the perfect settings in Toronto for such a fittingly-themed 1920s soiree. Inside, the classic chandeliers and ceiling details inspire intrigue and elegance. The feathery decor and mood lighting added for the evening was great. For those guests who arrived but forgot to theme…
