A welcoming outdoor picnic lunch setup at Oast House Brewers

On Friday August 28th, we took a trip out to Niagara on the Lake to take advantage of a beautiful summer day while enjoying gourmet street food by Chef Adam Hynam-Smith, hosted by everyone’s favourite Suresh Doss, food truck event organizer extraordinaire.

It was a drizzly night but that didn’t stop over 1,500 guests from gathering at the The Power Plant Gallery for the highly-anticipated annual Power Ball art party. In it’s 6th year, The Artist Project is an annual independent art fair that boasts 4 days of over 200 artists. Art lovers gathered to enjoy a huge collection of art from the independent artists in attendance at each of their booths. The first annual food truck awards event, AwesTRUCK 2012, brought 1,800 foodies to Evergreen Brick Works for a sold-out event to dine on delicious street food from pop-up shops and food trucks.
