After John and I attended the preview menu tasting at Montecito, we were commissioned to do photography for the menu, cocktails and the beautiful venue itself.

In it’s 4th year spanning multiple cities, The Taste of Iceland festival takes place here in downtown Toronto from Thursday, Nov 13th to Sunday, Nov 16th, 2014 in the form of prix fixe dining at Luma Restaurant as well as free concerts and films for the love of Reykjavik and beyond.

On October 29th, we were fortunate to attend an intimate bourbon tasting, featuring a selection of Jim Beam bourbons. And what better place to have this tasting than at Aft Kitchen & Bar, a neighbourhood restaurant in Queen East specializing in classic comfort food.

The 19th edition of Eat to the Beat – held on October 21st at Roy Thompson Hall – had extra significance this year, as Willow Breast & Hereditary Cancer Support was also celebrating its 20th birthday. Eat to the Beat is an important fundraising and awareness event for Willow, having raised more than $3.5 million in the past twenty years.

You can get a taste of many of Montreal’s best restaurants during MTL à TABLE, Montreal’s 3rd annual restaurant week. It’s fast approaching starting from Oct 30th to Nov 9th with over 135 restaurants participating with delectable set menus.
