CRU’s official grand opening was on Feb 28th, after the popular seafood restaurant Lbs. closed at the end of 2018, to unveil with its brand-new restaurant and bar concept.
The place is connected to the Scotia Plaza building, hidden behind its royal blue velvet curtains. Once you enter, the modern fine-dining restaurant is filled with stunning contemporary murals and artworks by Polish artist, Pawel Swanski.

August 5th was a beautiful day in Toronto; a perfect summer day to visit La Société to check out their new Le Cocktail menu. The restaurant would be introducing five new cocktails, the creations of sommelier, cocktail designer, and mixologist Kyle Stefanato.

For a limited time only, for the month of August The Carbon Bar is offering the Cottage Life Experience menu, done in partnership with Cottage Life Magazine and Corona. On Tuesday July 28th, we previewed Chef Hidde Zomer‘s cottage-inspired four-course menu, which consist of some classic cottage fare, re-imagined and elevated in new ways.

Last December, The Carbon Bar opened for lunch for a limited time, giving the lunch-time crowd a chance to sample some of the dinner favourites. Now, and just in time for the warm weather, lunch is back with ‘Mail It In’ Fridays with some new dishes from Chef Hidde Zomer and boozy cocktails.
