Branksome Hall’s Athletics and Wellness Centre contends to be one of Rosedale’s state-of-the-art landmark. Located on the corner of Mount Pleasant Road and Elm Avenue, the contemporary building is situated within the elementary and secondary all girl’s schools campuses.

It stands at 68,000 square feet as an award-winning building designed by MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects (MFMA), using many elements – limestone, oak, wood, glass, steel – in constructing its fine architecture.

On Oct 21, 2012 join over 130 chefs in possibly the largest one-day culinary soup-based protest in the world.  This delicious event will raise awareness to stop the proposed Highland Companies’ Mega-Quarry north of Toronto.   This follows last year’s sequel to 2011’s Foodstock, where dozens of chefs, farmers and musicians and 28,000 supporters gathered for this cause.
