After catching the eye of the countless curious commuters for months with its alluring signage, the anticipated Blue Bovine Steak and Sushi House officially launched, with a splashy celebration that drew the who’s who of Toronto out of wintertime hibernation mode.

Union Summer, a pop-up market presented by TD, returned this year from July 1st to August 19th. On the agenda was various themes of entertainment for every day of the week. With the new revitalized Union Station, Amano Pasta is a great addition as the first full-service restaurant. Chef Michael Angeloni envisioned the restaurant concept since childhood while making pasta in his nonna’s basement. Similar to Angeloni, as a second generation half-Italian Canadian, the dishes are Italian while many of the ingredients are not.
