Out of all the shows that went down the runway at this season’s World MasterCard Fashion Week, I’d have to point our spotlight on Mikael D. His show was the finale to the entire week and for good reason. You end with a bang.

It was quite a day on October 21st in the midst of fashion week. Jo-Anna and I checked out some fashion week shows during the day including the awesome “Viva La Juicy” Juicy Couture brunch and the Minnie Mouse fashion event.

There’s a lot to love about the Rudsak brand with creativity led by Evik Astoorian for the past 20 years. Luckily friends convinced me to stay around for this last show of the day in the midst of a hectic World MasterCard Fashion Week because now I love Rudsak even more.

At this season’s World MasterCard Fashion Week, one of the many outstanding shows was Farley Chatto’s “Far and Away” Winter Collection 2014 featuring lavish and luxuriously thick furs.

To start off World MasterCard Fashion Week SS14, Toronto’s fashion scene was invited to preview the upcoming trends in shoes for Spring/Summer 2014 at Trend Marketing in Mississauga presented in partnership with Town Shoes. The 7,000 square foot showroom (completely renovated and modernized from an old home) had plenty of space to explore a variety of brands including Jessica Simpson, Fergie, Sam Edelman, Donald J Pliner and more.
