This year the annual Luminato Festival’s and Yves Saint Laurent opening night party took place at the Allen Lambert Galleria within the unique, architecturally fascinating Brookfield Place in downtown Toronto’s financial district on June 14, 2013.

There have been a lot of Great Gatsby inspired events in Toronto this year (could it have anything to do with the new Leonardo Di Caprio movie, perhaps?) but the historic Casa Loma is clearly one of the perfect settings in Toronto for such a fittingly-themed 1920s soiree. The Luminato Festival held an inaugural “Big Bang Bash” gala featuring the unveiling of the Dolls exhibition by celebrated fashion designers, Viktor&Rolf, at the Royal Ontario Museum’s Thorsell Spirit House.
