The annual Get Lit event was a sold out success held at 2nd Floor Events on May 4th, 2016.
Notable Canadians and locals included CTV’s Kevin Newman, Black Hoof’s Jen Agg, Dave Bidini of the Rheostatics, Matt James, Dr. Jean Marmoreo and the Power Plant Gallery’s Gaetane Verna. They engaged the audience with their readings from writings that have personally inspired them.

This sold-out event featured artistic performances, contemporary and interactive art installations, DJ’s, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres throughout the multiple levels of the AGO.

Inside, we arrived at Diwan restaurant, where Chef Mark McEwan and Chef de Cuisine John Kovac offer a menu inspired with Middle East, North African & Indian cuisine.
