The Art Gallery of Ontario held its highly anticipated annual fundraising event on Thursday April 21st, 2016 – AGO Midnight Massive. 

This sold-out event featured artistic performances, contemporary and interactive art installations, DJ’s, drinks, and hors d’oeuvres throughout the multiple levels of the AGO.

We ventured to Aga Khan Museum, a unique beautiful Toronto attraction that opened in 2014, designed by Pritzker Prize-winner Fumihiko Maki, offering visitors to see aspects of Islam. Inside, we arrived at Diwan restaurant, where Chef Mark McEwan and Chef de Cuisine John Kovac offer a menu inspired with Middle East, North African & Indian cuisine.

During lunch, we dined amidst antiques, with Diwan’s elegant 19th-century wooden panels hand-carved and painted in Damascus, it was a nice touch to the modern…

Paint Cabin, a rustic-themed art studio with a cafe and fully-licensed bar, has become the newest hip hangout spot for those who want to feed both their creativity and their stomachs at the same time. Their cafe features housemade espresso – cafe mocha and chai latte to name a few – and a large variety of pastries from local bakeries such as Wanda’s Pie in the Sky and Earth & City.

New York City’s visual artist was brought in to collaborate with Saks Fifth Avenue for a special event immersing invited guests in a black and white world of hands on interactive art on Nov 23rd, 2015. The event celebrated the upcoming arrival of Saks to Canada.
