Rated as a must-attend event, the highly-anticipated, Canadian Opera Company’s 9th annual sold-out fundraiser, Operanation, lived up to the hype and then some. Kestin Cornwall’s “Jezebel” is a varied collection of original mixed media paintings and screen prints with influences from American Street Art, Asian, Egyptian and Sri Lankan culture. For those in the know, Powerball at The Power Plant is a highly anticipated annual celebration.  For the gallery’s 25th anniversary, Power Ball’s “Quarter Life Crisis” was a well-attended evening with 1,700 guests.  Those in attendance read like a who’s-who of Canadian and Toronto socialite fame including Melissa Grelo, Mary Kitchen, Jian Ghomeshi, Tanya Kim, Rick Mercer.
