It was a beautiful night with Toronto Life’s 2nd annual exclusive bash called ‘Most Stylish’ with the most stylish people on the opening night of TIFF at Shangri-La Hotel. The ballroom and the large tented terrace were open and packed. The bites were savoury and the drinks were flowing. Everything was definitely top notch and we will remember it as one of the best events of 2013. Here’s a video from last year’s Most Stylish party also held at Shangri-La

Growing from last year’s inaugural event, this 2nd iteration of the Diner en Blanc in Toronto had 1,600 participants come together at a secret location for an elegant pop-up picnic all dressed in white. Guests are brought to meet-up points and made aware of the venue at the last hour. It was in a parking lot at Queen Street just east of Church Street. I was satisfied for a whole…

With 30 EDM acts performing and 70,000 people at Downsview Park over the 2 days this past Civic holiday weekend, headliners included Above & Beyond, Kaskade, Dada Life, and Steve Angello. Deadmau5 ended the festivities with his grand finale performance.

Last night it was all about the 4 amazing young ladies known as the déVah Quartet and rightfully so. Recently coming off the success of a Kickstarter campaign they hosted their EP release party at Tattoo Rock Parlour with an incredible high-energy performance. Their talent with the electric strings is interesting and intense. Classically trained, contemporarily relevant. I’ve seen how far they’ve come in a few months since my first encounter with them at the ISES Toronto Steampunk Gala and…

Here’s a few photos from the tweets of last night’s Bud Light Sensation. With over 10 years making it’s waves across the world, Sensation finally arrived on Canadian shores on June 1st, 2013 at the Rogers Centre here in Toronto. I was lucky to snag one of the sold-out deluxe tickets but it was more fun just being on the floor with friends. It was visually spectacular with giant jellyfish hanging from the ceiling, incredible laser displays using water, jellyfish…
