Queen Street West welcomes Bar Altura, a bar that serves modern-meets-traditional Italian cuisine in a relaxed and easy-going setting. As depicted in its name, “Altura” reflects a heightened experience in cuisine (like artisanal pasta, cured meats, and cocktails) and “Bar” represents the restaurant’s approachability and comfort.
Since the first opening of this tea-cafe franchise in Toronto last year, “The Alley” has rapidly expanded to four more locations in the GTA including their newest one which opened in November in Markham – a hot spot for bubble tea fanatics. Originally from the Taichung region in Taiwan, The Alley boasts an upscale ambiance accompanied by high-end artisanal drinks in comparison to its competitors.
It was an evening filled with inspiration, in celebrating the art of celebrating each other. Celebrity designer Nate Berkus and Michelin-trained Chef Patrick Kriss of Canada’s top-rated restaurant Alo, teamed up with Stella Artois in hosting a most extraordinary garden party and inspirational dining experience.
