Summerlicious 2016 in Toronto is returning and will run from July 8 to 24, 2016.  The two-week event hosts over 200 restaurants which offer specialty prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus.

Diana’s Seafood has made a name for themselves with the success of their fresh seafood market in The Greater Toronto Area for the past 30 years. With the support of their loyal clients, they’ve opened their second Diana’s Oyster Bar & Grill location in one of Canada’s most diverse cities: Markham.

We’re getting into the summer spirit with Prana, a line of wholesome, organic products that are great for eating on their own, used in dishes, for baked goodies, and as snacks.

Bar Reyna is a great new addition in the heart of the Yorkville neighbourhood, a Mediterranean snack and cocktail bar, with a patio ready for summer. In the 2-storey Victorian house, both the main and second-floor dining rooms have their own dedicated bar and out back, a covered patio for year-round enjoyment.

Located in the heart of the Financial District at Adelaide and York, Drake One Fifty now serves an amazing weekend brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Chef Ted Corrado and team have created a unique menu celebrating the season’s light flavours and bountiful produce that support local purveyors and farmers.

It was rather surreal to be sitting down for lunch with an influential figure in Toronto’s culinary scene– but it happened. If anything, it just reinforces the notion that the person we sat down with — Chef Mark McEwan — is a very down-to- earth individual.
