So those of you who are Origin fans in the midtown area can rejoice! While this new location at Bayview Village did not have…

On a beautiful, warm Wednesday afternoon, Nick and I attended the Acadia Restaurant in little Italy for Beaujolais Wine Council’s wine tasting and luncheon. We tasted 12 different wines paired with a five course meal courtesy of Acadia Restaurant. We started with the white wine – Château des Jacques, Beaujolais, Grand Clos de Loyse, 2010(#1). It was fruity and delicate with a dry finish. I enjoyed drinking it on its own. First course: Creole Shrimp on top of Anson Mills…

The summer patio, scheduled to open at the end of May, will seat 200 people and will feature music, authentic Italian barbecue and true European cocktails. Toronto’s well-known Keg mansion is just across the street but Ganzi doesn’t directly compete against it, as they both offer different experiences at different price…

The…

Boehmer’s had an invite-only event to celebrate another succcessful year with Chef Paul Boehmer and friends.  Fellow foodies and wine lovers were treated to cocktails (“Pimm’s Cup” was the delicious cocktail of the night) and a delicious variety of hors d’oeurves including oysters but the surprise delight of the night was the grilled octopus. Many thanks for allowing us to be there and have another successful year! For more information visit www.boehmer.ca
