This last Saturday April 2nd marks the 5th annual sold out Memory Ball in support of “kicking Alzheimer’s in the ass”! It took place once again at the Palais Royale venue by Lake Ontario. What an incredible evening of cocktails, socializing, and partying for a great charitable cause.
U-feast and Sassafraz teamed up in support of Second Harvest for their 1st annual charity event on Thursday March 10th. The 4-course dinner was set for the theme of “A Wild Affair” by Sassafraz’s very own Executive Chef, Geoff Web, and Sassafraz alumni, Chef Michael Hunter (who now owns Antler Kitchen Bar). Not only did guests get to enjoy a an off-menu experience but they also supported a really great cause in its entirety.
After the opening of Canada’s 2nd Smoke’s Burritorie restaurant in Canada half a year ago, they have rolled out more varieties of burritos available to order recently. They are conveniently located on the lower level of Smoke’s Poutinerie in the Entertainment District, where much of the interior is painted guacamole green.
The Cantina by Campbell’s Soup is now open at the cozy popup shop located at 501 Queen Street West to serve complementary soup from February 2 to the 21st. There are 4 recipes thought out by Rock Lobster’s very own Matt Dean Pettit, inspired by his travels, and featuring Campbell’s newly released Soup Kits.
