Season after season Mackage is always a sought after show during fashion week. The after party for the luxury outerwear brand was held at a secret location. And for many it was tough staying up late on a weekday (including myself!) when the after party started but for supporters of Mackage it was definitely worth it … and the limo ride certainly helped.

It’s not often that we get to venture out of the city’s downtown core to visit a restaurant, but when we do it’s always something to look forward to. This time, we were off to Thornhill, north of Toronto, to visit Terra Restaurant, celebrating its milestone 20th anniversary this October. Terra is part of the Substance Food Group‘s family of restaurants, which also includes Sarpa in Oak Ridges, Rusty’s at Blue in Blue Mountain, and Francobollo in North York.

When we received an invite from Best Buy for an event showcasing what’s available today in building a smart home tech, we thought we’d be walking into a showroom full of products. What better way to learn about what life in a smart home would be like, than to experience it first hand.

Winter running workout

Welcome to the fall season! With rain and a few final big running races on the horizon, many running enthusiasts have a difficult time maintaining their training schedule. I’ve been there and would steer everyone clear of embracing the Thanksgiving, Halloween and all the other holiday food coma by combining it with new, exciting and unique ways of keeping your running steady, even when the weather isn’t the greatest.
